				Desperate Pfhor Net Play
										 by Ian Kelleigh

For most of us, playing a network game is the best part of Marathon. Whether it's with one other
person or the whole office. But sometimes when I'm sitting at home and have noone to play against,
I miss those endless hours of launching missles at cooworkers and most of us can't play over ARA.

So I took bits and peices of stuff that's been uploaded on the Net and added my own Physics to
create the greatest alternative to a Network game of Marathon. Converting the Bobs into Psycho killers,
they are the best "computerized" players to fight against on the Net levels. Not only do you get to play
the Network levels by yourself, but you'll obtain great practice in "sidestepping" to dodge those pesky
missles in Waldo's World of Spankers.

I tried to make this the easiest and shortest collection of patches and Physics, so please follow the
instructions carefully so you don't mess anything up!

Please follow these easy steps:

1: Create a folder where you'll remember to find your ORIGINAL Marathon files
later. Call it "Original Marathon files" or something. Option+drag a copy
of the "Shapes" file into this folder. Now apply the "Shapes Patch" to the
   ORIGINAL shapes file.

2: Drag your "Map" file into the folder you created in step 1. Then put the
"Map" file I supplied into your Marathon folder. This Map file is simply all
the original Marathon Network levels, with a few adjustments I made to make
sure all the maps contain a few Bobs in them and how often they show up.

3: Next all you have to do is put the "Physics Model" into the Marathon folder
and your set. You'll get the usual warning messages about using different
files but all should run smooth. In order to play the 10 different Network
Levels you'll need to hold down the "Command+Option" keys while starting a
new game. This will allow you to choose the levels. Here is the list in
order (It may be a good idea to Print this or write it down):

    0. Mars Needs Women
				1. Carnage Palace Deluxe
    2. 5-D Space
    3. Arena
    4. E Equals MC What!!!!
    5. Showered with Grenades
    6. Spiral Insanity
    7. Waldo World Arena
    8. What Goes Up, Must Come Down
    9. You don't need to see my I.D.

And by the way, you can still play these levels over a network, but make sure
everyone playing has the modified Shapes, Map, and Physics Model on each computer!

So go on and practice, and when you're back with the gang you can impress them with your dodging
skills and wipe them out!

NOTE: Be carefull. These Bobs are ferocious and they aren't as easy to kill as before (just like a real
Net game). You may think they don't see you on that ledge ready to pounce, but the next thing you know,
there's a missle between your eyes.

This is all FunWare so pass it around and have fun!
